Iguana loose

One day my ten-year-old son Luke was playing with our one-year-old Iguana, Mack. He had Mack's enclosure open and was petting him and giving him some banana as a treat when the phone rang. Luke ran to answer the phone without closing Mack?s
enclosure. It was one of my son's friends on the phone, so being a typical ten-year-old he got distracted and forgot all about Mack. When he got off of the phone he realized what he'd done and he was frantic! He told his babysitter and they both searched the house and couldn?t find Mack anywhere. So Luke called me.
I was on my way home from work so it only took me a few minutes to arrive at home. Luke, the babysitter, and myself searched the house from top to bottom and still couldn't find Mack the iguana. After searching the room that held Mack's enclosure one last time Luke and I sat on the edge of the bed in despair. Then I
looked at the top shelf of the bookcase that we were facing and there was Mack fast asleep! Luke was overjoyed. Needless to say Mack's enclosure has never been accidentally left open since that incident.
