There is an abundance of different types of lizard species that live
in or around such barren landscapes.
The Chuckwalla lizard lives in such hot dry conditions, feeding off of plant life
and random flowers. The desert iguana also inhabits such inhospitable environments.
Both of these lizards brumate (hibernate) for roughly 5 months during the winter,
for their food -even vegetation tend to die off during the cooler season.
The above video depicts a bearded Dragon emersed in this landscape art. Watch as the pencil sketch
comes to life turning from a lizard drawing into a real bearded Dragon.
