Leopard gecko out of it's leash

I had a Leopard gecko for about a year. Her name was Sasha. Leopard geckos make great pets!! They are so easy to care for and they don't need very much at all. Sasha didn?t escape very often, maybe only twice, and luckily she didn?t get very far or we would have never found her. That?s one bad thing about them; they
are fast and small so your chance of finding an escaped lizard is slim. Once they get to know you, they look forward to seeing you and enjoy their time out of the aquarium with you. Sasha was just so sweet, the way she ate crickets was so funny and amusing!! Unfortunately one day I took her out for a walk on her leash (this was probably a very bad idea to begin with) and a gun shot went off. She got very scared, scrambled out of the collar and was never seen again. I really enjoyed her. So if you're going to create a leash for a leopard gecko, make sure you take the proper precautions.
