I live in London no where near where u would find a wild living iguana but i was listening to the news one day before work and heard about 4 iguanas escaping from a zoo i didnt think nothing of it and just went to work, on the way back from a long day at work i get home to find 2 iguanas in my back garden. As i went up to them one ran towards me and i jumpted back and couldn't believe i had two wild iguanas in my back garden in london. Well i had kept an iguana before called godliza and he sadly passed away due to old age and i had his old viv in my shed so i got the viv and set it all up and i went to go back to the iguanas and the one that had chased me was climbing my tree and i walked over to the other one and it had a really badly indured leg so that is why the other one was chasing me. I rang a vet and took the iguana to them imediatly and it cost me a wooping 250 pounds to sort it's leg out so i brought it home and put it in the viv it was a fight to get the bigger one in but i did it. So any way i had them both in the viv feeding them every day for about a month and i ended up bonding with them very much and they both ended up very friendly. I rang the zoo up and told them i had two of thier loose iguanas and they thought they were gone and they came right away. When they arrived i was sad about the money and they said they would give me a refund on it and i said no its ok but there is one thing and they said yes what is it and i said i would realy like to keep them and they said i can and i was very surprized. So i have now got 2 big 5ft plus iguanas living at home with me.
