Two geckos

by nick
(somewhere in the usa)

I have two very lovable, cute, funny, and different geckos one is patternless the other is very bright. Once when the patternless (suger) shedded he was almost done but had a little on his head so it looked like a mask(very cool)i tried to help and grabbed on it while i let him pull free (i did not pull) i got a very cool leo mask then when i was watching him that night i noticed his eye was messed up, it scared me but the next time he shedded it was ok. The other (slip) doesnt really have any amazing stories except for when he jumped off a rock in his cage (maybe 2 inches)and got a yummy cricket treat. i also notied that leos tend to like smaller places to hide and they love a little log i made wraped in a black cloth to attract heat.

I see that both of your geckos are leopard geckos, the brighter patternless one is actually called a "leucistic leopard gecko" - leucism is another term for this. Leucism is a condition characterized by reduced pigmentation in animals and humans. They are sort of rare but they make awesome leopard geckos :) You did a very nice job!

Sincerely,
Courtney
