Mr. Lizzy the bearded dragon...

by Ashley Sanford
(Fernandina Beach, FL, USA)

I got my beardie when he was about eight months old. He lived a horrible life until I rescued him. He was tortured from other beardies just like him and that's why one of his back legs are missing. When I took him in he was very aggressive and mean. It seemed as though he couldn't trust anyone who came around him. You can say I brought him back to life as one puts it. Now he is as loveable and affectionate as he can be. He loves to be held,he lays on you calmly and what can I say I love him with all my heart. He has a very unique personality and love every minute of him!!!
